We, at Kalara Siberians, believe in preserving the unique spirit and integrity of the Siberian Husky. We do all that we can to advocate responsible dog ownership. We are a very small kennel, located in Oregon and we breed on a limited basis. Meaning we have puppies available once or twice year.
We believe that the Siberian IS a working dog and as such we strive to maintain the beauty and the working nature of the Siberian, without sacrificing one over the other. It is because of this that all of our dogs have their eyes checked yearly and registered through CERF and have their hips scored by OFA after the appropriate age of two years. Our dogs are part of our family first and show dogs second. We are not about the mass production of puppies. We carefully screen and select the dogs in our breeding program. We want to produce happy and healthy puppies that not only conform to the standard, but have the greatest temperaments that make them great companions.
